Membership and Fellowship Categories of SIHSD
The Society for Innovation in Health and Scientific Development (SIHSD) is dedicated to promoting excellence in research, innovation, education, and community-based scientific development. Regular Fellows (FSIHSD)
The Regular Fellowship of SIHSD (FSIHSD) is a prestigious recognition awarded to professionals, academics, and researchers who have consistently demonstrated active engagement and meaningful contributions in the areas of science, technology, innovation, or education. This fellowship acknowledges individuals at mid- or advanced career stages who have built a strong academic or professional portfolio and continue to contribute to knowledge development and problem-solving. To be eligible for this fellowship, individuals must have a minimum of 3 years of documented professional or academic experience in a relevant discipline, demonstrated involvement in research projects, innovation activities, teaching, or scientific publication, and endorsement by a peer or professional reference.
As a Regular Fellow of SIHSD, individuals will receive a post-nominal title “FSIHSD”, a certificate of recognition, access to SIHSD events, conferences, and publications, and eligibility for collaborative research and grant opportunities. This fellowship is valid for 5 years and is renewable. Regular Fellows are expected to continue contributing to the advancement of science, technology, and education, and to participate in the activities of the Society.

To be eligible for this membership, individuals must have a graduate degree or higher in a scientific, technological, or educational discipline, at least 10 years of professional or academic involvement, and evidence of significant contributions such as research publications, inventions, community service, or mentorship.
As a Life Member of SIHSD, individuals will receive lifetime membership status, a post-nominal title “SIHSDLIFE”, a featured profile in the SIHSD directory, and priority participation in leadership roles, committees, and policy panels. Life Members are considered leaders in their fields and are expected to continue contributing to the advancement of science, technology, and education. They will also have access to exclusive events and opportunities, and will be recognized as authorities in their areas of expertise.

Student Members (SIHSDS)
The Student Membership (SIHSDS) is granted to undergraduate or postgraduate students engaged in academic study or early-stage research in any scientific, technological, or allied discipline. The membership aims to nurture emerging talents and provide them with platforms for growth, networking, and career advancement. To be eligible for this membership, students must be currently enrolled in a university or research institution and demonstrate an interest or involvement in academic or research activities.
As a Student Member of SIHSD, individuals will receive a post-nominal title “SIHSDS”, access to student research forums, scholarships, and mentorship programs, discounted or free participation in SIHSD training, webinars, and events, and publication opportunities in student research journals. This membership is valid for 5 years or until graduation, whichever comes first. Student Members are expected to take advantage of the opportunities and resources provided by the Society to enhance their knowledge, skills, and professional development.

Dignitary Fellows (FMSIHSD)
The Dignitary Fellowship of SIHSD (FMSIHSD) is one of the Society’s highest distinctions. It honors individuals who have made exceptional contributions in the fields of research, academia, innovation, or social impact. These fellows are considered torchbearers and role models in their respective domains. To be eligible for this fellowship, individuals must have at least 5 years of professional, academic, or research experience, hold a PhD or equivalent qualifications, or demonstrate outstanding contributions to science or social development, and a history of leadership, innovation, or public engagement.
As a Dignitary Fellow of SIHSD, individuals will receive a post-nominal title “FMSIHSD”, a personalized certificate and award plaque, a featured profile in the SIHSD annual report and global directories, and preferred access to fellowships, keynote invitations, and expert panels.
